Came here for lunch because I saw on the menu that they had a falafal burger which sounded very appealing. I also ordered a side of the spicy hummus, as well as some fries. The food came out fast and tasted good. My only real issue is that I asked multiple times about the tahini the menu mentioned. I feel like I made it clear that I didn't want tahini and she said there isn't tahini on the sandwich but there was. I scraped it off and it was still good.

I don't eat Mediterranean very often, but even I can tell how flavorful and carefully crafted their dishes are. This was a lovely lunch for us to have, and I am very glad we decided to stop in and try it.

When you're done with same-old same-old ho-hum restaurants, and ready for something different and delicious, try Layalina Mediterranean! We went because it's our daughter and son-in-law's favorite.

TDLR. Food is below average and service could be more honest. Ambience is nice. Came here on a sunday night. I will start with the honesty part - there is a board at front today's Special, saying you get a free lassi with each Entree. After ordering they said it from Thursday... they did not honor or remove the board. No big deal if food was good. Now to food - we tried their beef pie, half chicken, and assorted kabab platter. Half chicken was extremely bland, cooked but not even browned, tasted old. Beef Pie was again bland, but a little salt helped. Needed more onion or somwthing with crunch. Hummus (apparently award winner back in 2022) lacked olive oil and tasted below average. Assorted platter - shish tawook was great and the beef was kifta kebab was good. But the beef kabab was confusing. It was bland, heavily tenderized, and tasted funky. We kept on trying to figure out if it was spoiled. My wife was saying it was one of the worst restaurant experience in recent times.... ...... ...... We are from Frisco. Hopefully it was an off day?

First time trying Mediterranean food tonight. We were not disappointed. We had the Mixed Grill Combo and 2 Lamb Kabobs and Baklava to finish. 10/10 service and food. And this place is so cool. Hookah if youre into that and even board games!! I would 100% recommend. ✨️
